Pack: 100 tabs (100ug/tab)
Substance : Sodium liothyonin
T3 Cytomel is not an anabolic/androgenic steroid but a thyroid hormone.
The substance contained is synthetically produced liothyronine sodium, which resembles the natural thyroid hormone tricodide-thyronine (L-t3).
A healthy person's thyroid usually produces two hormones, the best known of which is L-thyroxine (L-t4) and the aforementioned L-triiodine-thyronine (L-t3).
Since Cytomel is the synthetic equivalent of this latter hormone, it causes the same effects in the body as if the thyroid were to produce more hormone.
Interestingly, L-t3 is clearly the stronger and more effective of these two hormones.
This makes Cytomel more effective than commercially available L-t4 compounds such as L-thyroxine or Synthroid.
The manufacturer of the L-t3 compound, Germany's HoechstAG, attributes the following characteristics to its drug Thybon, making it clear that L-t3 is superior to L-t4: 'the synthetically manufactured thyroid hormone L-triiodine-thyronine ( L-t3), included in Thybon, in experimental and clinical trials has been shown to be 4-5 times more biologically active and faster in action than L-thyroxine (L-t4).'
In traditional medicine, Cytomel is used to treat underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism). Among other secondary symptoms are obesity, metabolic disorders, and fatigue.
Bodybuilders take advantage of these characteristics to boost their metabolism by taking Cytomel, which causes faster conversion of carbohydrates, proteins and fats.
Bodybuilders, of course, are particularly interested in increased lipolysis, which means increased fat burning.
Competing bodybuilders, in particular, use Cytomel in the weeks leading up to a championship as it helps keep body fat extremely low without starvation dieting.
Athletes who use low dosages of Cytomel report that by taking the steroids at the same time, they become more effective, most likely due to faster protein conversion.
Until recently, Cytomel was used by male and female bodybuilders in particular – on a daily basis for several months to stay 'hard' and in good shape all year round.
Believe us when we tell you this, the majority of bodybuilders who are featured in 'muscle magazines' and look hard and dry in photos, eat foods from fast food outlets and eliminate them by taking Cytomel.
The thyroid burns excess calories like a furnace.
Nowadays, instead of Cytomel, athletes use Clenbuterol which is becoming more and more popular.
Those who combine these two compounds will burn an enormous amount of fat.
As for the dosage, one should be very careful since Cytomel is a very strong and highly effective thyroid hormone.
It is extremely important to start with a low dosage, increasing slowly and over several days.
Most athletes begin by taking one 25 mcg tablet per day and increasing this dosage every three to four days by an additional tablet.
A dose larger than 100 mcg is not necessary and not recommended.
It is not recommended that the daily dose be taken all at once but broken down into three smaller doses so that they become more effective.
It is also important to note that Cytomel should not be taken for more than six weeks.
At least two months of abstinence from the product should follow.
It is also important to emphasize that the dosage should be reduced slowly by taking few tablets and not end abruptly.
